Rubberific Mulch
If you have a garden, or a green area, then you’ve probably
heard about mulch. Mulch comes in different types and
materials, but all of them have pretty much the same purpose:
to make it easier for plants to grow, and make the gardener’s
or landscaper’s job easier.
There are basically two types of mulch, organic and non
organic. Among the brands of non organic mulch, Rubberific
mulch is one of the most famous and known ones.
Rubberific mulch is made out of recycled rubber mulch tires
that aren’t safe to use anymore. This alone prevents old
tires from ending up in some dump or garbage yard. Just
remember to dispose of your Rubberific mulch properly once
you’re done with it, so it gets recycled in another product and
doesn’t become another pollutant.
Rubberific mulch can come in its natural dark grey, almost
black color, or it can come painted and coated in a different
color that goes better with your garden or playground.
Rubberific mulch comes in natural colors, like cypress or
cedar, or artificial ones, like blue and green, giving you a
great choice of variety so that you can get the look you want
for your area. Rubberific mulch guarantees that the coating
will not face in at least 10 years, after which, it’ll revert
to its natural almost black color.
Some people don’t like to use non organic mulch because they
believe that it is toxic to the plants. However, Rubberific
mulch has been proven to be non toxic to plants and flowers of
any kind. In addition, because of its nature, bugs and termites
don’t breed or nest on Ruberrific mulch. This helps reduce the
use of pesticides.
Another advantage of Rubberific mulch is that it is five
times heavier, and thus it won’t wash away with irrigating or
watering, normal wind or rain. It is specially useful in areas
where the terrain is inclined or has a steep, as it stays in
place much better than wood mulch.
Rubberific mulch is also very effective for weed control.
Weeds can’t grow on rubber, and therefore any weed would have
to grow from the soil. However, this is difficult and unlikely,
since Rubberific mulch doesn’t allow sunlight to reach the
soil. In addition, the heaviness of Rubberific mulch will make
it impossible for weeds to push it as it sprouts and grows.
Finally, Rubberific mulch is not toxic for humans or pets.
Nevertheless, as with any type of mulch, always pay attention
that your child doesn’t put it in his or her mouth, as it might
contain dirt or other foreign materials that might be harmful
to your child.
